Sri Lanka
was called Ceylon before 1972. It is a tropical island country in the Indian Ocean with rich cultural heritage and has the reputation of "Kingdom of Jewels" and "Pearl of the Indian Ocean". It is also the most cost-effective whale watching location in the world.

We will using freedive watch whale under the sea because freediving  has no bubble. "bubbles" which is  meaning warning, and even provocation between whales. Freediving is the best way to whale watching and also can be closer with the whales.

And Trincomalee area where only two months a year the water temperature will be 29~30°C from mid-March to early May. The narrow continental shelf drops steeply over 4,000 meters. The cold and warm currents meet here, bringing abundant plankton and krill, and groups of whales come here to look for food. During the whale watching season, the waters of Trincomalee are usually calm and sunny, but remember to pay attention to sun protection, and there are often Oil Seas - silky smooth seas.

​In addition to whale watching, there are various activities that can be done in Sri Lanka. If you still have energy after freediving and watching whales, you can go to the beach to see sika deer, visit temples, play frisbee on the beach, beachcombing or watch the sunset, etc.

Itinerary

  • 3/4 - Fly to Colombo International Airport and spend one night in a hotel near the airport

  • 4/4 - At 9 a.m., take a private car to Trincomalee Cardamom Hotel in eastern Sri Lanka. The drive takes about 5 hours. You will visit and rest at the Elephant Orphanage along the way. After arriving at the hotel at about 5 p.m., a dedicated person will explain the precautions and briefing on the whale watching trip

  • 5/4 - Whale Watching Diving Tour / Temple pilgrimage / Frisbee

  • 6/4 - Whale Watching Diving Tour / Shore diving around the island

  • 7/4 - Whale Watching Diving Tour / Visit seaside sika deer

  • 8/4 - Whale Watching Diving Tour / Beachcombing / Pool party

  • 9/4 - After breakfast, take a private car (5.5hrs) to Colombo International Airport. On the way, you will visit the Cave Temple or Lion Rock, and fly out of Sri Lanka in the evening.

  • 10/4 - Return to Macau / or you can make your own arrangements to stay in Sri Lanka and travel by yourself

I will take a speedboat out to sea to watch whales every morning. If you are lucky, you can easily be in the same frame with the world's largest mammal and swim with them in the ocean.

In addition to whale watching, because of Sri Lanka's special geographical terrain, you can also witness the rich ecology of this place by shore diving and sea fishing. There are also white sandy beaches, corals, and reef sharks here.
If you want to experience more different activities in Sri Lanka. You can move freely and experience the exotic customs of Sri Lanka after returning to the hotel in the afternoon.
