Maldives is an archipelago country belongs to Sri Lanka, South Asia. About 500 kilometers away from the Indian Ocean facing south-southwest of India. With an area of ​​298 square kilometers, the Maldives is one of the smallest countries in Asia. It consists of about 1,192 coral reef islands in 26 atolls.

 

There are more than 2,000 species of marine life in the Indian Ocean of Maldives. Kinds of fish and coral living environment on the seabed, and also with excellent visibility. There are also many hammerhead sharks, nurse shark storms, reef shark fleets, guitar sharks, whale sharks, dolphins, manta rays, marble rays...etc. They will completely shaken you up!

  • Day 1 - Flight to Male, overnight stay at Male

    • SQ438  - Singapore to Male 20:35 - 22:10

  • Day 2  - Flight to Gan Island, then transfer to the boat by the shipping line (briefing in afternoon)

    • Q22110  - Male to Gan Island 06:10 - 07:45

  • ​Day 3-8 - Daily boat diving

  • Day 9 - Disembark after breakfast and go to Kooddoo Island airport flight to Male

Huvadhoo Atoll

Also named Gaafu Atoll, it's one of the deepest atolls in the southern Maldives. There are many pristine dive sites filled with caves, steep drop-offs and beautiful underwater landscapes with breathtaking coral and fish species. Expect to see Manta Ray, Leopard Sharks, Gray Reef Sharks, Silky Sharks, School of barracudas, Eagle Ray, School of Jack and sea turtles in the ocean.

Fuvahmulah

It is located in the equatorial strait between Huvadhoo Atoll to the north and Addu Atoll to the south. It consists of a low-lying coral formation 4.5 km long and 1.2 km wide. This unique atoll apart from other Maldivian dive sites is the frequent sightings of thresher, oceanic whitetip and tiger sharks.

British Royalty Wreck

The 420-foot-long oil tanker, the largest shipwreck in the Maldives, was torpedoed twice during World War II and ultimately sunk by the British in 1946. The vessel is located on the starboard side at a depth of approximately 33 meters.

Maa Corner

This place is famous for its year-round Manta Ray cleaning stations. The main station is deep and the current in the channel can make it more difficult for beginners. There are a few coral blocks that are slightly shallower and can be regarded as cleaning stations, and Manta Ray can often be seen. The current hook is recommended to maintain the correct position and stay in one place for better observation.
