The PADI Basic Mermaid Instructor Certification Course can help you to learn mermaid diving and teaching skills, is the first step that learn to be a mermaid instructor and educator. 

 

After the course：

• PADI Basic Mermaid Certification - can teach the PADI Discover Mermaid Experience and the Basic Mermaid Certification Course, and also can Issue Basic Mermaid certificate to students

• Professional mermaid diving and teaching skills

• An cooperation opportunity with Macau Merfolks if you got an excellent grades in course

Prerequisites:​

- 18 years of age or older

- Holding a PADI Advanced Mermaid Certification (or have a equivalent certification from another training organization)

- Holding a valid( within 12 months ) PADI Divers Medical Statement

- Holding a valid( within 24 months ) EFR First Aid Primary Care and Secondary Care Certification (or have a equivalent certification from another training organization)

Equipment:

- Swimwear

- Mask and Snorkel for Freediving (suggestion: for personal hygiene reason, It is recommended to bring your own )

- Mermaid wears (free rent in course, suggestion: you can bring your own mermaid costume and tail)
- Mer-fins  (free rent in course, suggestion: you can bring your own Mer-fins)

Graduation requirements:

- 5 skills assessment

• Ability to swim 400m without swim aids

• Ability to float comfortably at the surface for at least 10 mins

• Ability to swim 800m, using mask, fins and snorkel, unlimited time

• Towing a mermaid diver 100m with Mer-fins

• Towing a unconscious mermaid diver 50m with Mer-fins

- 7 mermaid skills performance

- Assist Mermaid Instructor in  one time Discover Mermaid Experience and two times Basic Mermaid / Mermaid Course

* PADI Basic Mermaid Instructor certification will be certified after passing all the graduation requirements​
